8x6 Valve Box Adapter with Lower Seal

The 8x6 Valve Box Adapter is designed for applications where the existing valve box consists of an 8" steel, plastic, or concrete pipe in the ground.

This adapter slips into the existing pipe and seals against passage of dirt or debris. It can be easily moved up or down to adjust to surrounding pavement. After backfilling the hole and compacting, a concrete ring is usually poured around the full flange service ring.

The valve box has now been converted to a standard configuration, which accepts regular 562 lids.

This product includes either a 562 Locking Lid, or a NPR600 Non-Pop Lid, at the same price.

With the Ampro lid in place, the valve box is now sealed, both top and bottom, against passage of debris into the valve box.
